My blog

Well, this semester is concluding. This has been so good but I didn't had enough time. Now I need sleep by the rest of my vacations. I had many subjects in this semester but a special was "Ingles III". In this subject, I wrote in a blog, in which I write now, and I think that was a nice experience because I could tell my histories, my hobbies, and other things of my private life. And sometimes is good when we can express our ideas in a text for that other people can read this and we can develop our writing skills, in my case I feel that I develop this because now I write English faster than before. 

In the future, I want the English subject including a field trip for example that we go to a foreign colony for practicing English or a visit some english-speaking embassy.

I would propose to write about people that marked our lives, about our favorite movies or about our dreams. But I liked when the topic was free.

Then, I say I like “Ingles III” because, this was funny although for me always was difficult learn other language, also Miss Belén was so patient with me, added my effort... Finally I enjoy this.

Nice experience

Hello, I´m going to talk about a nice experience I lived in the University, the visit to “Mundo Karol”. Well, we went to Mundo Karol for a subject: Teoría Administrativa. In this visit participate all my generation and me. And it was very interesting for me, because this school is different than others schools, because the children of "Mundo Karol" have to a different model of learning. In this school existed a system of authority, in which participates the students; For example, in "Mundo Karol" there are, mayors, presidents, persons manager of security, etc, but are the same children or students who performed this role. I felt very interested and moved for the school; because this model of learning is new and this could change the form of teach.

We do this visit because we must create a project for eradicate a problem we had identifed in the school. Then, my work group and me, we think the problem was the school didn´t had a secondary school, because later the children will finish your classes of basic education, and then the system of school is over, because “Mundo Karol”,  haven´t secondary education.

My place: Requinoa

Hello! Today I want to talk about a special place for me, the place where I lived since always; Requinoa. This place is located in the sixth region in Chile, and this is to twenty minutes south of Rancagua, this is a nice place because is a combination of field and city, and I know, this is my place.

Requinoa was born day sixth of May of 1894, and this place include mountains and valley, and rural places and field places. This place is a farming community for excellence.

In Requinoa, are the things what there are in all the villages, but all is smaller. In Requinoa there is a Square, a Train Station, a Police Centre, a station of taxis, a fireman group, and other, but Requinoa is compound for other places, for example: Los Lirios, Los Quillayes, San Agustín, El Abra, Villa Francia, and others like where my house is located, El Trigal.

 Requinoa is a small place but is very beautiful because have to a lot of pretty landscapes. This is my place because I was born here and I will remember this place forever.

Repercussion of the next World Cup.

In Brazil, millions of people were thrown out of their homes, because the World Cup is coming. Just in Sao Paulo seventy thousands of people were evicted because their house lands must be used for repair works.

For the passion of football for part of the all the world, a lot of persons will lose their homes and will release for the street.

This next World Cup will be realized in five of June of present year and this caused a lot of controversial opinions about the World Cup repercussions. Because this affect a lot of thing for example, this will give happiness to the world but this will bring sadness for the people too. For a way, this world cup will join to much people but for other way this will leave to many people in the street and this signify unhappiness for all the world because the story of the people who will stay in the street, us touch on our hearts.

In these days, the polemics repercussions of World Cup, have generated a lot of protest in the Brazilian streets.

Maquiavelo's legacy.

Nicolas Maquiavelo is a very important person in the administration´s history because he did a lot of important contributions for this. He was born in Florencia in 1469, then past the time and he was designated secretary of second chancellery responsible for externals issues and the war of city, he was involved on political issues during all his life. But, he didn’t his most important contributions in his work; he did in political issues, especially in Administration’s issues.

Maquiavelo did a lot of contributions in my area of studies, but two of them are:

- He wrote about two types of leader: a natural leader and the leader who got his techniques.

- And he wrote about what the continuous existence of any government depend of approval or support of the multitudes.

The Maquiavelo’s work be used in this times for professionals in different fields, for example in Public Administration, because teaches to people to be betters leaders.

I know the importance of Maquiavelo because we study him in the class of Claudia Heiss, “Pensamiento Político”, and in this class we read two texts of him what are very important: “El principe” and “Discurso sobre la primera década de Tito Libio” , and then we know his importance for Public Administration and for Political Science. 

Child Obesity

Child obesity is a very normal disease in our country in this time. This disease is caused by many reasons, for example bullying, health problems, and others. This illness affects many children in Chile, in the present there is lots of junk food, then the children don´t eat healthy food, and that causes they are fatter. In Chile, the MINSAL, which means Ministerio de Salud, made a study about this matter and it showed that children younger than six years, 24% of them has overweight. The Ministerio de Salud, also said that children who have overweight are situated in the south of our country. In the present, in Chile,many programs are being developed by the government to decrease the level of child obesity, for example the program "Elige vivir sano" of Sebastián Piñera's government. It is very important to create programs for this problem because this is a problem of the society in general, and this affects to lots of children that maybe we know.

A funny photography

This picture is very funny and it was taken in 2012 in Viña del Mar for a partner of school. In this photography, my friends and I were enjoying the beach and we were swimming, and then a wave came to us and throws to, my friend Sofia and me, away. I like this photography because is very funny and it represent a time when I was very happy. This picture was taken when I went to the study tour with my partners to finish of December in 2012, I went to Viña del Mar for a week with my friends of school, I this was the last journey I did for my school “Liceo San José”. That week I enjoyed so much; in the afternoons I went to beach and in the nights I went to the pubs with my friends. That was a very nice week and I go back to this place, thousand times.
