Child Obesity

Child obesity is a very normal disease in our country in this time. This disease is caused by many reasons, for example bullying, health problems, and others. This illness affects many children in Chile, in the present there is lots of junk food, then the children don´t eat healthy food, and that causes they are fatter. In Chile, the MINSAL, which means Ministerio de Salud, made a study about this matter and it showed that children younger than six years, 24% of them has overweight. The Ministerio de Salud, also said that children who have overweight are situated in the south of our country. In the present, in Chile,many programs are being developed by the government to decrease the level of child obesity, for example the program "Elige vivir sano" of Sebastián Piñera's government. It is very important to create programs for this problem because this is a problem of the society in general, and this affects to lots of children that maybe we know.

A funny photography

This picture is very funny and it was taken in 2012 in Viña del Mar for a partner of school. In this photography, my friends and I were enjoying the beach and we were swimming, and then a wave came to us and throws to, my friend Sofia and me, away. I like this photography because is very funny and it represent a time when I was very happy. This picture was taken when I went to the study tour with my partners to finish of December in 2012, I went to Viña del Mar for a week with my friends of school, I this was the last journey I did for my school “Liceo San José”. That week I enjoyed so much; in the afternoons I went to beach and in the nights I went to the pubs with my friends. That was a very nice week and I go back to this place, thousand times.

Taylor Swift

My favorite singer is Taylor Swift because her songs identify me. I like Taylor Swift since I was fourteen then I had grown her songs and these show me a new way of see the life. Taylor Swift was born in Pennsylvania in December 13, 1989. She has a brother Austin.

She writes her songs since she has fourteen years old and her musical style is the country, I love country. She had won lots of prizes because she is a singer recognized in the world.

 She have a lots songs, between them are “Red”, “You belong with me”, “Mine”, “Forever and always”, “Love Story”, “Today is a fairytale”, “Speak now”, “The lucky one”, and others, but my favorite song of her are “Mean”, “I almost do”, “Red”, and other more.

I hope someday I can go to the concert of Taylor Swift because she is a wonderful and beautiful woman and she is an Idol for me.

My favourite piece of technology

My favourite objects in the world of technology are the mobile phones. My sister gave me my last movil phone because in a visit of her house , and along the way offenders stole my phone but my sister gave me other the same day. I use my móvil phone for everythings, because I can play games with it, reads the texts, checks my e-mail, and a lots of things more, but the most important things is the móvil phone allows me listen to music in everywhere, I can´t live without the music, then, I can´t without my móvil phone. My life is not same without my móvil phone, but if I get a mp3 or mp4 maybe I can live without my móvil phone, but is so difficult for me because my familiy is away and my móvil phone allows me will be in contact with them.

My expectations for a new semester

This is my third semester in the University. In this semester I have six subjects: Derecho Administrativo, Inglés III, Teoría de la Ciencia, Teoría Administrativa, Estadística aplicada and Microeconomía.

I take one extracurricular activity and this is football. I´m training in the Recoleta´s stadium, Tuesdays and Thursdays at half past seven in the afternoon, I like so much this class because I feel free and I release my stress running. I´m not part of more activities in my university because I must study very much to get good marks.

I think this semester will be very amazing because I will try to learn new things in many subject, especially in English because this is very interesting for me.

My full name is Valeria Ignacia Soto Sanhueza but everybody calls me Vale. I'm nineteen years old and now I'm studying Administración Pública at Universidad de Chile. I was born in Requinoa, sixth region, Chile, but now I live in Santiago de Chile for studies reasons. I live with my uncle and my aunt in Santiago but I go back home in Requinoa all weekends. In Requinoa I live with my parents Claudia and Mario and my two brothers Franco and Mateo. I also have two half-brothers Mario and Miriam but they are older than me. Also, I have two nephews Juan Pablo and Marcos.

I love sports but i'm not very good for this, I play football or try.
